Not liking the overall direction of the society and calling it “trash” while claiming oppression while being in a position that most would envy are two very different things. Keep fighting the good fight for our marginalized people, though.

Just remember that social media has given every low IQ human the ability to share all their thoughts to the world. Great entertainment, tho

This comes off like uneducated word salad spewed out because she clicked on some headlines.

She’s a minority woman living in one of the greatest places in the world for that demographic. She gets to dribbled a basketball and make a living equal to middle-upper middle class.

Of course. “When I do it, it makes sense! When they do it, it’s gibberish”

It’s all hypocrisy and logical fallacies to reduce the cognitive dissonance that might occur if you realize the political opposite of you is the same as you (both sides do this).

Case in point: you’ve made up this straw man argument that people in an enviable position claim they are oppressed, when *most of the time* they are speaking out on behalf of the population as a whole. Hardly ever do you see someone rich saying they are themselves a victim.

But when they speak on behalf of a group of less fortunate people, it’s so much easier to say “what bullshite, this person has it so easy and is so fortunate!” than to address what they’re actually speaking about. And you’ve got that part down pretty well.

Funny considering that her entire livelihood comes from playing in an affirmative action league.

So at no point to merits of the argument actually count for anything? Every analysis is based solely on the political identity of the speaker?

Based on the OP, the “group(s) of less fortunate people” that she’s speaking of are black/brown people and the LGBTQ+ community. I’m assuming that she’s a member of both. At what point will these groups no longer claim to be oppressed and less fortunate? My guess is never.

The ironic thing that she and the groups she identifies with is that they don’t realize that their own side is the one doing the marginalizing.

sounds like she is including herself in the oppressed so your whole argument (such as it is) collapses

If I was black, someone saying this like I have to align with them would piss me off.

it’s difficult to address what she’s speaking about because she didn’t fricking say anything. if her statement is supposed to be profound, or a deep dive into socioeconomic forces, then we need to shut down public schools and figure something else out, because we’re pumping out retards at an unsustainable rate

Dumb arse comment. The country isn't perfect and racism sucks but if she feels her life could be better in Argentina, Germany, Nigeria, etc... then she should go do that.
