Well for starters, he wins. But secondly, a lot of his successes come at the hands of playing for one of the best defensive coaches in the sport’s history.
Not trying to take anything away from his stat line, but look at his recent highlights in the last few years. Most of his passes are 5 yard out and hook routes to where guys like Edelman go up field for like 30 yards. Then, we have to hear the media talk about how great Brady is for throwing such a long pass. That’s just a small example of many.
Put Brady on the Saints for example. From 2006-2019, does he really win any more Super Bowls than what they already have? Where would have the difference maker been? But with that said, he was put in a great position in NE and capitalized on it.
