Number 1) He gave up on his team in Cleveland. I would have respected him if he would have stayed and won a title there. And don't say he had no help when they had the best record in the league MULTIPLE times. He was only 26. MJ didn't win his first til he was 28. Hey LeBrick it's called WORK. Na no thanks, I'll just team up with two of the best players in the league.
Number 2) The Decision. That stupid espn tv show where he announced where he was "taking his talents" and the ensuing championship celebration with Wade and Bosh where he predicted that the Heat will win 8 titles. "Not 5, not 6, not 7." So that means at least EIGHT.
Number 3) His undeserved sense of entitlement and blatant arrogance. Where does this come from? Why is someone who has never won anything more than a high school state championship so damn arrogant? Hey LeBrick, you are 6'9" 270 can jump out the gym and run a 4.4. Sorry I'm not impressed when you can get 30 a game. How about making a play in crunch time a little more? Also, you are the most athletic physical specimen to ever walk the earth. Quit acting like a kid in a candy store when you dunk on people. How about a little humility.
Number 4) I love basketball. And to me, he is ruining it to where it is almost unwatchable. I want to see the best players play against each other. Not team up in their prime to win a title. He's a quitter who couldn't get it done on his own and didn't want to work. At least the Celtic players waited until they were in their 30's to team up. It's like when I was a kid playing video games and stacked all the best players on my team to win. Not something I want to watch.
LeBrick is NOT and at this rate WILL NOT EVER be on the same level as MJ, Kobe, Magic, Bird, or any of the all-time greats. LeBrick is one of the greatest TALENTS this game has ever seen. But you know what doesn't show up in the stat book? Heart, killer instinct, being clutch, superstar intangebiles. All things that Prince LeBrick James lacks. I hope he never wins a title. frick him.

I don't hate lebron. I hate the hype around lebron. And it makes it impossible to root for him.
Posted on 6/6/12 at 6:28 pm to PurpleDrank18
I don't hate him, but people like you that dick ride him make me root against him and his pos counterpart Wade.
Posted on 6/6/12 at 6:32 pm to hg
i'm not dickriding...just pointing out flaws in peoples "irrational" (IMO*)hate for Lebron. just pointing out my views on situations he's been in just like the haters..
Posted on 6/6/12 at 6:37 pm to PurpleDrank18
i know there are more haters than this...i've seen way more in the game threads...i seen't it.

Whoa. Cleveland is a great place and his hometown. The front office tried to get talent around him. They made it to the NBA Finals, so I wouldn't say that he wasn't getting any closer.
Good point. Plus he basically gave up in the playoffs his last year in Cleveland. He could have handled his exit way differently. I still respect him as a great player, but I'm just not a fan anymore

THIS. most rational answer I've seen lately.
Its the people who hate him so much the downgrade his abilities and talents as a basketball player that bug me.

im glad people are listening to you and i wish your word would spread haha . I moved out of miami 3 years ago and get shite every day for being a LeBron fan and its really just overdone now.

b/c he is a douche
and his fans who jump team to team. They act like his game is above being criticized. There are a few poster here who post substance(shel, LouieT) when talking about Lebron but most of his fan boys he don't post anything of substance

1. He QUIT in the Boston series 2 years ago. He wasn't the same LeBron as the one who lit up Detroit in 07. He definitely had other things on his mind which makes me believe he and DWade were trying to set things up before his free agency.
2. The tv spectacle. The was probably one of the most arrogant, stupid, douchiest PR moves I've ever seen.
3. He doesn't play for the Cavs and I dislike/hate anyone not playing for my favorite team.

Nobody can downgrade hum as the most talented player in the NBA..PERIOD. BUT...tTalent doesn't win championships and talent doesn't make you the best.

same people that couldn't see cp3 giving up on the hornets on multiple occasion. They just point out big games and ignore the obvious quit games and make excuses for them
