It's a basic tenant of the game. It's 9 vs 9. If you hit, you play the field. If you play the field, you hit. I know it will never happen but these are the top 2 options IMO: 1. Abolish the DH 2. If the AL is keeping the DH, get rid of interleague play....

I haven't seen any posts that wanted him gone. I've seen several posts stating that he is to blame for most of the Saints' problems or just criticizing him in general. That doesn't mean they want him fired....

It's proper to wear a military uniform at a wedding or a funeral especially if the groom/bride/deceased was military. Other than that you will only see off duty in uniform if he/she makes a pit stop on the way home from drill....
