We’re going to have our first female Super Bowl official

I have much less of a problem with this than with the kicker. This is at least a job that a woman can do. I just can’t figure out when it’s ok to say their gender.

They grade the officials, right? If she's one of the best, then by all means she deserves to be there.

No problem with it or the article. This is something that can be applauded, a women breaking through into a male dominated field. Like OP said, this is nothing like the publicity stunt at Vandy.
