Is Liverpool great on offense so far this season? No, they are not. But Liverpool defensively is PUTRID.

Only 6 teams have surrendered more goals in the league this season than Liverpool.

Last season, the only squad that surrendered LESS goals than Liverpool was Arsenal.

Criminal indeed.

4 pts of a possible twelve. 8 dropped points.

The two matches at Anfield? Bottom table Leeds and Burnley.

There is something fundamentally weak and wrong about this squad and at this point I’m pretty convinced that that something is Arne Slot.

My flight out of Atlanta to Vegas was around 6:00 AM on the Sunday before the game so it was before the snow started that day. Had two planned layover days in Vegas post-game so by the time I got back to Atl it was still a mess but manageable to at least get back home. Had to scrape about 14-in of collected snow off of my car in long-term parking with my gloved hands before I could start making that slow and careful drive back to the northern burbs though.

So far this season, Liverpool are 4th in the League in goals scored (30).

Goals conceded? 11th in the League (26).

The issue this season is the defense. Wonder how different things would have been if the Guehi transfer had gone through?
