If it is the same one, no she didn’t. She was lost on several plays. More than several really. You could see her looking to other officials quite often to see what they were doing/calling/spotting.

She's the HL. Spots are not her main responsibility, that belongs to the LJ. Her main focus is the chains. The only time the spot belongs to her if it's from the numbers and out(sideline) on her side. The other 2/3of the field belongs to the LJ on spots.

Whenever the play gets close to the line-to-gain(first down), the white hat always looks towards the LJ b/c of the spot and knowing where the ball is on the field is his primary repsonsibility.

The NFL should release the grading data

That won't happen.

So, there isn't a man that's better? She paid her dues?
It's 100% publicity. And you dopes are falling for it.

LOL. Read her bio, she started out as a high school official and worked her way up through the ranks.

Chauvinistic simp.

t's definitely based on being in shape, that's for sure. The majority of fatasses on this board wouldn't be able to stay up on the play.

Exactly. The amount of cardiovascular fitness needed would overwhelm the vast majority of this board.

The flag was picked up because Shawn Hochuli forgot to announce #74 was reporting as eligible.

He didn't have to b/c #74 was at the end of the line, thus making him automatically eligible.

The NFL could improve ratings with some hot lady refs wearing the tight-arse shirts that are so popular with the juicer ref crowd.

Officiating isn't something that is based off of athleticism, so there's no reason women can't be referees.
I feel like someone posted a link to some research way back when woman NBA refs were just starting that men actually are actually faster at processing stuff we are seeing

Idk what it was and if anyone wants to find it go ahead. But I feel like I've seen stuff that suggests men, on a general macro level, would tend to make better refs

I would assume this woman passes the test and would be just as fine as her male counterparts. I just always found that interesting

Players must report as eligible when wearing an ineligible number (e.g. 74) and lining up in an eligible position. The interior line is never eligible.

When she first started to officiate, she wore her hair up saying she just wanted to be a regular official, not stirring things up because she's the first female NFL official...

Now she wears it in a pony tail out of her cap. I wonder what made her make the change.
