Just did the math because I am a fricking nerd
On average, there is 40 first downs total per game
The clock stopping until the teams were set takes on average 10 seconds
So, that’s 400 seconds it gave you of extra football, or 6 minutes

Think you misread, I don't think that but read any thread about ND or Freeman on here since the hire and that's what 90% of the comments are.
It was a risky hire for ND, and potentially short sighted to try to keep one recruiting class together (which didn't happen), but very high reward based on his recruiting ability.
