I am sure you are not aware of what is going on in regards to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and their campaign to become THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA. The fact of the matter is, the are NOT The University of Louisiana. Nor are they "Louisiana" or "UL". This is an agenda being pushed by their fans and administration, and is in direct defiance to the legislation that was passed in the late 90's when the University of Louisiana school system was conceived. There are several schools in the UL System including Grambling, McNeese, LA Tech and UL Monroe. UL Lafayette is in no way the Flagship of the system and calling themselves such is a slap in the face of all other universities in the system. Your broadcast of the ULL/ Ark St. game last night alluded to Lafayette as "Louisiana" numerous times. This is not only incorrect, but insulting to thousands of Louisianans. Please do not buy into their disrespectful agenda by referring to ULL as "Louisiana".

not just that, but the manner in which they went about it. using ESBristol3.com....just plain childish.

I don't personally send out emails begging for us to be called anything. I'm just supporting my University's stance. I'm sure Bobby Jindal is preparing for an emergency session of congress to address the issue.
