Is the athletic department somehow exempt from the law? The athletic department is under the purview of the university. If the athletics changes it's name, then the academics side will naturally follow suit.
That's the whole goal, and why it makes your argument look dumb. We can all see what's happening here. As a university, they are trying to brand themselves as "UL"
Look at the brick work around campus. It all has the UL interlocking. No lafayette to be found.
Own it, and say you want the whole university to be UL, because we all know it's true. Y'all just come up with dumbass arguments like this as justifying the means to get there.
