Operations guide (halfway down web page) says in January the generators are open only if lake is over 168.5: Operations Schedule

Current water level is 168.05: Current Lake Level

According to SRA/USGS data, the lake did not reach or go over 168.5 this week.

Additionally, both generators are operating 24/7 - not even partial operations.

WTF
This McNeese team is better than last year's team. They will dominate the improved Southland again.

Rousse was first linked to LSU in June. It is sad Rousse is now catching shite for the mess Landry has created in recent weeks. Rousse will be a rock star and is exactly what LSU needs right now.

I am sad he is leaving McNeese/Lake Charles. The impact he has made on Lake Charles in a short period of time is damn near a miracle. I'd be willing to bet 99% of the negative talk on Rousse is internet warriors with zero knowledge of Rousse.

Is there any evidence that Rousse is going to bring the McNeese AD with him to BR? Imo, this is nothing more than a fabricated rumor to hurt Rousse (all because of Landry). Rousse is a little more savvy than all you morons.

Section 563. Together. I can meet in BR today.

I’ve given up. Goodwood only had cheap and/or made in China knifes - Henckel and some other brand. Really sad.
I actually checked out Dillard’s and Macy’s. Very bad selection. Macy’s only had Henckels. Dillards had Henckels and Swiss Army brand.
Williams Sonoma, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Sur La Table are all closed.

Any ideas on a where to find a good block set?

I will also pass through Lafayette later today.

Thanks!

I don’t know him personally, but he has been impressive handling all of the challenges in Lake Charles this year.

I do not understand the requirement of hiring a current big program head coach.

Corbin, O’Sullivan, McDonnell, and Vitello were not head coaches at big programs when hired.

We should be hiring the best available guy under 50 with the best chance of building the next LSU dynasty.

Justin Hill - McNeese St

Tony Robichaux and Mike Bianco are the only two coaches to win with regularity at McNeese until Justin Hill arrived. Hill has brought McNeese to two straight Regionals for the first time ever.

Hill:
- 41 Years Old
- Former LSU pitcher
- Classy
- Energetic
- Player’s Coach

McNeese athletics had a ton of athletes transfer in every sport but baseball this year. Hill didn’t lose a single player. He is special.

Check out his Twitter account. He is a winner.

A rural public school could recruit for a 100 square mile area and not come close to the population pool of a large city.

Lafayette Parish has around 225,000 people. Sabine Parish has less 25,000. How will allowing everyone to recruit level the playing field in small classes?

I’m for 1 system. Lafayette Christians of the world prevent that from happening.
North Dakota and North Dakota State have almost twice the budget of Youngstown.

What can we do? I got rid of 4 season tickets after Guidry's first season.

Admin has damn near ruined tailgating with all the new rules. I don't get it. Starving for participation in the last few years and manage to find new ways to crap on the ones who do support the school.

I'm gonna vomit when Hemphill announces JC Harper.

This type of hire is why I attend less McNeese games every year. SFA went out and got a stud up and coming D2 coach. McNeese will go out and hire a 50 year old who has ties to one MSU donor family.

Most successful coaches at McNeese over last 30 years used it as a stepping stone. Wgaf. Give me Keasler, Bianco/Robichaux, and Everhart every day of the week.

AD Hemphill is a disaster.

Venice Lodging

Looking to book a two night trip to Venice later this summer. Any recommendations on where to stay?

6 guys. Looking for something more than a motel room. Maybe a 2-3 bedroom situation.

Is there any good food down there?

Thanks
Horses are raised for food in Iceland. Horse tenderloin is excellent.

I'd like to know why Miami of Ohio and Western Kentucky felt a need to go in a different direction after Guidry was named interim HC.

Did McNeese even look around for potential candidates?

fwiw, I heard this afternoon from someone I trust that Viator is ironing out a few details and should be named the next ULM HC.
