While he is certainly NOT the best pitcher to ever play the game, he has 100% bucked all conventional coaching tactics as it pertains to pitcher development, conditioning, & the science of the game.

I’ll never forget Bauer dicing LSU in the NCAA tourney out in LA. Was not a pleasant experience

Same. Been a big fan ever since
A lot of people thought LSU dodged a bullet because they threw Gerrit Cole against the 4 seed. Turned out that Bauer was actually the better pitcher in college.
