There are a lot of bad GMs out there.

Okc trades Ibaka to Orlando. A few months later, Orlando flips Ibaka for Terrence Ross and middle first round pick.

Meanwhile OKC takes what they got for Ibaka and flips them for Paul George and Jerami Grant.

The article was talking about Lebron's history of convincing veteran role players to take less to play with him and he has been doing none of that this year.

Well 1.) Cavs don't have a bunch of flexibility to compete with a rising cap

2.) it's harder to sell "Come here to win championship instead of money" when the warriors are such a dominant force. Hard to pass up money for what seems like such a small chance at an NBA title going against the warriors

Golden State offered Andre Iguodala a 3-year, $45 million deal and he's deliberating, league sources tell ESPN. No options are attached.

Their payroll is going to be insane. I know their owners rich and they make a ton of money but I saw that with the tax, their payroll will eventually reach 400 million.

Golden State now has $130M in guaranteed contracts that include the three-year, $48M Andre Iguodala contract and $31.8M projected Kevin Durant salary. If the Warriors fill out their roster with minimum contracts their total salaries will be $137.5M with a luxury tax bill of $40.2M.

Fast forward to the summer of 2018 and the Warriors project to have $138M in guaranteed salary that include 8 players and Kevin Durant at a projected $35.7M contract.

Lacob is opening the new SF waterfront arena this season built with private funding. It will also host conventions, shows and concerts that he makes mucho money on

He bought GSW for $450mm and it is now valued with the arena at $2.5bb

Luxury tax? What luxury tax?

Really like this move by HOU. Signings like this will really help push them into the eventual matchup against GS
