It means the LebronJamesSportsNetwork is trying to squash the notion that he rules the franchise.

Wasn't there recent news that Lebron blocked a trade involving Kyrie?

This would've been fun to dissect

Mike Wise @MikeWiseguy Stan Kronke, Dan Gilbert agreed to deal for Love to Denver, PG to Cavs & Gary Harris to Pacers. Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard reneged, I'm told

Pritchard made the mistake of worrying about who he was trading with instead of just trying to get the best deal. Read on a pacers board that he did not want to deal PG to the Cavs and of course wouldn't deal with the Lakers unless it was trade rape.

Gary Harris >> Oladipo+Sabonis

I don't get it. He wanted multiple starters and picks including the BRK18 from Boston, wanted at least one of Ball or Ingram plus Randle, Clarkson and multiple first rounders from the Lakers. Didn't Portland offer multiple top 15 picks too iirc?

Then he settles for Oladipo's horrendous contract and Sabonis. And no picks

It's been reported that Portland offered a much better deal, but no details have come out. I'm guessing it was probably #15, #20, future picks and contract filler (Crabbe/Turner).

It was reported in a price Lowe did among other outlets that Portland would (likely) put together the best (realistic) offer putside of BOS/LAL caving to the Pacers' demands.

The article was talking about Lebron's history of convincing veteran role players to take less to play with him and he has been doing none of that this year.

He can be dealt. He had a trade kicker though that he can waive.

It's a little complicated but you can read the deets here:

The Crabbe Trade Clause

quote:

If the Blazers trade Crabbe this summer he will receive a 15 percent bonus for the remaining value of his contract, option years excluded. Since Crabbe’s deal ends with a player option, that means he’ll get a bonus equivalent to 15 percent of the $37.8 million he’s owed over the next two years. The 15 percent bonus will be spread evenly over the remaining non-option years of the deal. This table summarizes the raw math:

What's important to note is that after July 10 or 11, the Nets can make an offer for him.

I believe if Crabbe is moved this offseason, it'll be to the Nets

It would be a trade, so yeah they would "let" him go.
