Tillman Fertitta is in talks with the NHL to bring a team to Houston

Houston Coyotes?

I'd imagine Tilman would explore just giving them the Aeros name but if it's a brand new name it would likely fit in the space category like the Astros and Rockets.


The Texans is a terrible name.

I hope something comes of this, this time. I would be stoked to have an NHL team here.

Thought it was pretty widely known he wanted an NHL team at the Toyota center and he has recently been pursuing the Cayotes

Houston Vaqueros

No way there’s too many teams as it is the talent pool is diluted enough

Been told by a friend who works with Preds, that Houston is one of favs to get a team. They have gone from possible to top8, to one of favs. They love what the Owner and City would bring, and have always been happy with Aeros and their fans. Atlanta continues to move up, but NHL wants to make sure Arena is in best place possible, and best access to fans. NHL believes arena placement is why the flames and thrashers failed.

Take it with a grain of salt, but he's usually good on NHL shite, when he texts me stuff.

Best I've seen in my hood was some lady who posted repeatedly that someone - for the last 10 years she'd lived here - had been killing possums at night and depositing them in the middle of a majorish cut-thru street to be found in the mornings.

She finally quit nextdoor after some dude started a couple of hilarious parody threads.
