It’s called the Melbourne Cricket Ground. They have been playing cricket there since 1853. They also play Aussie Rules Football there as well. AFL was invented to keep cricketers in shape during the off season.
I’ve been there and watched an AFL match between the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood Magpies. It’s an absolutely beautiful stadium. Has a great vibe and atmosphere. It’s as iconic a stadium as Wrigley Field, Fenway, or Old Trafford.

I looked this up when the Dodgers played there but that was a long time ago so could be remembering wrong
As opposed to baseball that really came into its own in our populated urban centers and had to develop our fields to the literal city blocks around our stadiums, cricket largely remained a pastoral game played in the English countryside so when it came to building stadiums, the rules and overall culture really leaned into large, open, fields
