Then mays, aaron, and all your old school boys were cheating off their asses as they were taking amphetamines like skittles

Add Ruth to the list for alcohol

You have to wonder though if Griffey's injury riddled stint with the Reds that pretty much neutralized him from the game in the early 2000s will affect him when it comes to the HOF

No, you really don't

It was not banned by baseball. Steroids or HGH were not banned, as they had no banned substance list. So, according to your argument, Bonds is in the story.

Lets say everything is cool and ANY substances were allowed. Its Bonds ALL THE WAY. But I still hate the guy cause he was SOOOOOOOOOOOO good before he roided. And if you want to go from 1960. Its Mays and it isn't really close.

But overall....

It's

Ruth
Aaron
Mays
Gerhig
Williams
Musial
Cobb
Mantle
DiMaggio
Hornsby

Ruth tops all because he was an absolutely dominant pitcher as well as hitter.

I understand the whole Ruth played in a different Era where pitching wasn't as good, but shite, others played in that era too and the son of a bitch was hitting more homers than whole fricking teams, doing it with a drinking problem and doing it fat. He was the damn Sultan of Swat, the King of Crash, the Colossus of Clout. The Great Bambino.

He single handedly made baseball the National pastime.

That's legit.
