Tough break for the twins getting Atlanta’s top 3 starters

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Sale pushed back to the Brewers series.

We need to score runs against the Brewers.
Can't seem to do that when Sale starts.

Have to win this series (and the Chicago makeup game) before going to Milwaukee.
Would be awesome for that series to have the claim to best record in NL hanging in the balance.

Think it's time Walt stops pussyfooting around.
Around 6 weeks to go in the regular season.
Common sense says Dubon at SS.
Jarvis (3-30 in August) has been a good lil story, plays hard, good glove, team player, but for now he is a bench player, spell a starter who and there.
Catcher- Murphy ( I know, I too no fan of this)
1st base- Olson
2nd base- Albies
SS- Dubon
3rd base- Riley
LF- Thomas/Yaz
CF- Harris
RF- Acuna
DH- Baldwin
Just 1 man's opinion. Thoughts from fellow Braves fans.

I think you’ll find a lot of agreement on that lineup. With three righties pitching for the Twins, I expect to see Jimmy in there for some of it.

I'm actually in favor of getting Murphy consistent ABs during the next week or two -- just to get a better read on where he is at and if he could be a legit piece on the playoff roster for some of those ABs.

Very tough schedule to finish the rest of the season. If they get the bye, they will have earned it.

Looks like a short rain delay.

Baldwin leadoff single T1 -
51 minute delay per tv - with no rain

Perez in some big early trouble. He looks like Holmes did on Saturday. Twins might put this to bed quickly.

Looks like Perez finally remembered it's not 2018.

Jesus Christ throw a fricking strike.

Crap. 4 runs with this offense is tough
Posted on 8/17/26 at 7:55 pm to GooseSix
4-0 still no outs....

Make no mistake, Perez has done an admirable job this season, going from non-roster invitee to rotation guy.
But this is exactly why you can't rely on him in the postseason. Dudes without an overpowering fastball rely so heavily on location. When the location isn't there, you are royally fricked.
And in the postseason when every AB is high intensity and batters work more counts, it's harder to rely solely on location.

Well at least we don't have to stay awake for this one. This offense can't score 4 runs unless Olson hits a homer or two.
