He is pretty fuking funny is what he is
I agree. One of my faves of all time. I hate his politics, and even though comedians aren’t as heavy handed lefties as most of Hollywood, I can’t enjoy stuff based on politics or I’d be stuck watching nothing but spaghetti westerns and Rocky ...
In many places they are oversaturated. They bought out Brookshire's/Super 1 pharmacy a couple of years ago. We now have 4 Walgreens on the same street all within a few miles of each other....

I’m a Braves fan rooting for the Mets. Enough said. ...
Who are some successful hitting coaches they could target? I'd think people would be foaming at the mouth to work with a lot of these guys....
Spotrac has him valued at 6 years $136 million, so roughly $22 million/year. That's a no brainer, but I know some team will give him $30/year. And I know AA will be hung up on years but he just paid a 40 year old Morton $20 million in 2024 dollars. $22 million in 2030 would be a steal for a 36 yea...
Is this his first year? I’ll never judge a coach in what he does his first year. Got to give him some time. ...
Agreed. He is so frustrating at times but you know what you’re getting. For the right price I’d love to have him back. This year proved you can’t have too much pitching. So unless they think AJSS or Waldrep are ready then we need another guy. ...
BTW, was already unlikely but the Braves chances of resigning Fried just took a huge hit with Musgrove having TJ. ...
10 million. Not sure how I left that off. ...
What’s the most you’d pay Charlie for one more year? $10?...
What bad contract could we trade Murphy for? Was thinking Bae but the Cubs don’t need a catcher. But then again, neither did we and still added one. And the Cubs would have to throw in a lot of cash. ...
Nah. AA gonna stay below that last luxury tax threshold like someone mentioned earlier. ...
Meh. Has he managed anything other than the Olympic team? And Snit will be manager again next season....
Chipper wasn’t on staff this year.
correct. and may explain some of our hitting woes...
You're not getting rid of Seitzer after one bad year
Maybe, maybe not. Doesn't help to have Chipper going on podcasts saying how he hates their hitting approach. Even if he meant the league as a whole. AA can trot the same lineup out there next year and hope for closer to 2023 ...
Our catchers can't throw out any runners anyway. Much of that may be on the pitchers. But once automated strike zones are here, the value of a defensive catcher is voided....
We will revisit this next year when he’s hurt again bro
I'm not going to back to look but I would guess he missed fewer games this year than any of the other core starters: Strider, Fried, Lopez, Sale...
Time to bring in Jonah Hill from Moneyball to figure out what we need at SS and LF
Wasn't the original premise to try and find cheap guys to replace the production they lost? Not very hard to replace the production at SS and LF this season....
