Very tough schedule to finish the rest of the season. If they get the bye, they will have earned it.

Cy Mahle back at it again.
Playoff preview. Face good pitching, bats are dead.

Elder with a great outing

Trust in AA.
Playoff game 3 starting lineup right there.

Some serious word salad from Bowman.

Is anybody holding AA's feet to the fire? I know it's not his job, but Nitkowski is starting twitter wars with anybody that dares criticize AA. How anyone can be a sunshine pumper today is baffling.

Also, AA just announced that Kim has been activated and Mateo DFA'd

So it's possible that AA just made this team worse. Losing White and Mateo (though neither are huge losses) and getting nothing in return. Very bold strategy.
Loving this financial flexibility we have from the lack of big off-season splashes.
Put Dubon at 3rd when Acuna comes back.
I was there tonight. First game in 2 years. Really fun. Even got to see 2 really hard hit balls by Riley. Rare occurrence.

Fortunately we’ve played so well that it’s easier to weather these.

Unfortunately, after last year, the current stretch may be more the norm than the mirage that was April/May.

Best record in the leagues and you're gonna give up?

You think they’re the best team in the league?
No idea what the other poster means by “giving up” but I think most fans feel as though it’ll be another short playoff run. And very fortunate to make the playoffs due to career years from Dubon and Dom which likely won’t last.
I don’t blame anyone for the frustrations they have with this window being slammed shut due to AA’s patchwork which was successful for 60 games but not sustainable.

Anyone here use hooks for pull lifts?

I know there are pros and cons to it. Definitely don’t want to hinder grip strength but the possibility of maximizing back strength/growth is definitely intriguing.

At least the Mets lost

I see this posted every time they lose. Is it because we hate them? Or because it keeps them further away from competing for the division? Because if it’s the latter, I’m much more worried about the Phillies.
If it’s the former then :dude:

What's the point of having a covered practice facility if it is not climate controlled and completely enclosed?

Supposedly the whole building is grounded meaning they can practice if lightning is in the area. At least that's what I was told recently.
And I don't know that it was built because of lightning. We have plenty of rain without lightning here. And like JJ said, it allows them to practice in August without having to go at 5 am.
