The intra-position rankings are fairly good

Just 1 Offensive Lineman (at #25, and it’s not even a Tackle) makes me think that not too many actual coaches and scouts were involved though

Only person on this list I have issues with is Bowers. He was a hell of a weapon, but best player on those great Dawg teams (and best Dawg over the last 25 years)? Skill position bias IMO

He was a frick up but not putting Johnny manziel as one of the top 20 college players of the past 25 years is insanity.

Chase Young but no Will Anderson makes 0 sense to me. Anderson had 34 TFLs...his sophomore year alone.

Fwiw, neither are in the top 20, but Anderson must be ahead of Young, imo.

Cam
Reggie
Burrow
Tebow
Lamar

I like Hunter but he is way too high.

Tebow and VY have an argument to be higher.

First response was an lsu fan complaint about burrow lol

We have some dumb fans that can’t get beyond their homerism

#24 Tyrann Mathieu

Mathieu at #24 on just his freshman and sophomore seasons. He would have been top 10-15 if he hadn’t fricked around and gotten the boot.

He had a 1st round RB standing next to him in the backfield, a 1st round WR and a 2nd round WR catching passes that season.

He still completed fewer than 50% of his attempts against Alabama.

Again, average.

Not really good.

ETA: On the season he only completed 57% of his passes with 16 TDs.

The next year he completed 76% for 60 TDs.

So, yeah. Joe Burrow was fricking average in 2018.

He was good, but ask a good qb to run shitty plays and you get shitty results.

If grading them against their position, Bush is #1.

He's so far ahead of #2, whereas at QB not a whole lot separates cam, Tebow, burrow and vy.

Chase Young too high..not on talent, but stats.

Sure, 16.5 Sacks his last year, but 98 Combined Tackles for a career over 34 games(30 of which via Assist).

Defensive stats can be affected by your aura… like for example the offense won’t throw toward an elite CB. They might not run toward a Chase Young

1. Cam
2. Burrow
3. Tebow
4. Bush
5. Young
6. Suh

I think you can argue any order after those 6. I think Cam is a clear cut #1.

Chase Young being on there is hilarious. Both Glen Dorsey and Pollack were better college players. Honey Badger should be the 2nd highest defensive player after Suh.
Lamar Jackson shouldn’t sniff the top 10 with his 4+ losing seasons every year. Deshaun Watsons nfl dumbassery shouldn’t be considered with how good of a college qb he was.
McFadden has to be in the top 25 without a doubt.

Travis Hunter being much higher than Jayden Daniels is shameful. There is no argument to be made that would support that.

Cam, Bush, Young, Burrow, Tebow...nobody should have a problem, if that were your Top 5.
