How do we know for sure that Harry is the one fricking things up?
I don’t think Harry is doing anything wrong, but at some point Rory needs a guy to look at him and say “you’re one of the best players on earth, start acting like it” instead of being his buddy.
ETA: Maybe they have a heart to heart tonight and Rory goes bonkers tomorrow.

DeChambeau played awful and still shot a 69

Doubt Rose holds this lead by the second nine on Saturday

Rory's former agent in England said earlier this week that Rory won't listen to anyone.

I hate to say it but this is looking like another very predictable Scottie victory. Similar leaderboard to last year
He'll pitch and putt around and you'll look up and it'll be 13 on Sunday and he'll up 3 shots. Yawn

I think it’s crazy that Tiger was only 43 when he won in 2019. Rose is 44. It seemed like it was such an incredible feat that he won but I guess that wasn’t due to his age.
Fun fact - Justin Rose was #1 golfer in the world in 2019

Love the way Bhatia bounced back after the bogey on 15. Finishing with three straight birdies is huge. If they go off after a little rain tomorrow look out for that group to go low. Rory needs to go balls to the wall and Aberg is looking solid. So many what ifs today. Can’t wait.

Do they stick with the same first round pairings in the second round, or do they have new pairings based on leader board position?

Same. I think there is a link in OP

Brandel just got very emotional, and might have shed a tear if he blinked, over being asked if Rory shot himself out of the tournament
Bryson is CLEARLY on a 70mg vyvanse
This is such a weak attempt to show viewers what happened here by the golf channel

Lot of folks in here going out on a limb calling a win for scottie after day 1.
You dont get props for picking the favorite
Lotta golf left.

I missed this, but I heard Chamblee on a podcast recently going through Rory's data at Augusta, and he basically said Rory sucks if he's in contention at Augusta.
He also said if Rory is at his best, and Scottie is at his best, he's betting on Scottie.

I don't recall the exact numbers, but I think a bunch of Masters winners were top 3 or 5 after the first round. Scottie definitely was in his previous two wins, so it makes sense he'd be the favorite again after today.

Indeed.

Yes, they just switch starting times. The ones who went out in the afternoon hours yesterday will go out in the morning today and vice versa for the ones who went out early yesterday

The last 20 winners have been inside the Top 10 after 18 holes unless your name is Tiger Woods.
The last five winners have been inside the Top-3 after 18 holes.

Rose will win and it will be by a wide margin.

This board is always a methed out drunk on the first two days of a major There is so much golf left anyone +2 or better is still on it
Well 18 of the last 20 winners have been in the Top 10 after round 1(Both exceptions were Tiger). +2 is probably too wide of a net. Sorry Rory.
