You should be thrilled with how today played out. Think of all the extra time and energy Bryson will have to make more Breaking 50s. And since the weekend will be unwatchable for you with Rory lapping the field you can spend that time catching up on Bryson breaking the course record at local munis

Paul McGilney brought up a great point on Live From. LIV courses are set up for birdies and low scores. It’s a loose atmosphere with music playing. Coming back to a Major, that first round is a shock to their systems. Not single LIV golfer broke par in the first round and their average score was 75.3, worse than the overall average of 74.6.

Rory McElroy is the oldest looking 36 year old I have ever seen. He looks like he’s in his 50s.

Completely agree with this. LIV tournaments are fun for the fans. Music, party atmosphere, low stress golf.
But it’s not conducive to major prep. Anyone that’s still serious about contending in major championships needs to get back on the PGA tour.
