Jeudy has checked out. He’s been very meh and his effort ain’t there, but it can’t help anyone being in the broken building that is the Broncos organization.

He ain’t the only one loafing around out there, a ton of those guys have just quit.

I hated Steve smith when he played for the panthers, but to his credit you always knew he was going to show up.

Can’t say the same for Jeudy.

When Jeudy started wearing a Star of David necklace, and justified it by saying his friends call him "Jew" I knew he would be a bust.

Not because I give a shite about the Star of David, but because he came off as being basically retarded.

And that's how he comes off in this exchange.

As a Saints fan I hated Smith cause he just killed us but this was pure gold. Jeudy’s are a dime a dozen, punks who think they are something they are not and aren’t willing to put in the work. The world is littered with these people.

I detected no lies in the video. Jeudy finished with 3 catches for 14 yards.

Yes, Cooper, Smith and Ridley are just barely hanging on to their careers.

Russell had 2 picks last night but they were both on tipped balls at the LOS (Drew Brees special). He kept driving Denver into KC territory and putting nice throws up there. Jeudy whiffed on at least 3 50/50 balls that a good WR would have caught.

The only TD the Broncos scored was gifted to them after the refs gave them a first down off a completely BS roughing the passer penalty that the announcers struggled to justify.

Or you know he could have ignored him and not used such a "hurtful" word.

Certainly there’s more adult ways to react than what Jeudy did, but also Jeudy doesn’t owe Steve Smith an acceptance of his supposed apology, and for steve smith to immediately start saying the same things he initially said he was apologizing for since “he was wrong” proves that the gesture was ultimately meaningless/phony as hell

In the clip Steve smith is both trying to claim he’s the bigger man, while being the most childish person in the situation. The only reason the reaction has been positive for his side is because people liked him as a player. Rodney Harrison did the exact same thing (I also found it really shitty and lame) and everyone rightly crushed him all week on it

Steve smith started it and aired it out publicly, then wanted to make nice in private, then went back to airing it out publicly when he didn’t get his way. Can’t have it both ways and I think this speaks more to how widespread the well has been poisoned from the first take era.

This is like Jim Rome apologizing for calling Chris Everett “Chrissy” and then acting self righteous about it if he didn’t accept it and bury the hatchet. Your actions have consequences and you typically receive the same energy you give .

I'm not trolling and this is a seroius question...would teams call Steve Smith for his advice on trades? Is he invovled with the league still in any real capacity?

I’m sure part of his job now in media is to build relationships with young players ala Deion Sanders the past decade. Steve Smith has enough respect around the league to where a GM might reach out to get his thoughts, but SS definitely fluffing up his pull.

That is nearly the entirety of this current Broncos team, Russell Wilson gets lit up out-of-bounds on the sideline and no one came to his aid. They're mailing it in the rest of the season.

think that Jeudy's only real exceptional quality is speed, and he was able to outrun most people in college.

See I never thought he had Chase/Waddle/Ruggs elite separation speed.

He wasn’t a dude you’d see fly past people. Not to say he was/is slow, but he was never a burner compared to the other elite guys.

He was a guy who was always open because he was surgical with his routes and was exactly where the QB expected him to be.

Now he’s just a guy running sloppy routes with middle tier NFL speed and low effort.

It’s… bad.

“I’m sorry that I said you were a J.A.G., just a guy. Who’s an average wide receiver who they used a first-round pick on that isn’t doing anything," Smith said. "I hope today that you actually show up in a way that you haven’t showed up in the last couple years since they drafted you. So if you ever have a problem with Agent 89, I’m sorry, for saying that you’re an average wide receiver that they will eventually move on (from). When Teams call me and ask if they should trade for Jerry Jeudy, I will say "No". Don't trade for Jerry Jeudy, because he is mentally unable to handle criticism, from people who watch specifically to say "can he be a WR?" He can be a WR, he's a Tier 3.”

Who's the one who's acting like a bitch? Jeudy just said he doesn't worry about you, and used the n-word like white guys use "bro". Steve is the one acting like a fricking woman lol.

The amount of downvotes this gets is hilarious considering the same people were wiping away tears of anger Rodney had the audacity to be critical of MSB favorite Zach Wilson

Steve Smith is a petulant child with how he approaches things at times. It makes sense because he was, by all accounts, a gigantic a-hole. Jeudy is a moderate bust at this point, but Smith made this personal from the start. Probably not the best practice to drop n bombs, but zero issue with Jeudy not wanting to associate with Smith.
