The people have spoken and they support wiretapping.

He may be a POS and a racist but I hope Sterling sues and wins and sends people a clear message they can't force him to do something he doesn't want to do with his property. The lack of respect for property rights is disgusting.

It is just amazing to me that they are doing this for comments he said in private to his girlfriend......think about that for a second!
Exactly my thoughts. Banning an owner from his team for saying that in private seems insane to me.

Sterling's racist rap sheet is a long one.
I just wish they could have gotten him on something that would actually stand up upon extreme scrutiny because this shite show is just getting started.

Bestmode press conference

Destructive, yes. Expensive, maybe not.

Sentrius - I am in agreement with you.

If an NBA player is ever recorded in a locker room talking about a gay player....will the NBA ban him for life?
No, but he'll be crucified by the media. One player's stupidity isn't going to hurt the NBA, but having an openly racist owner that employees black people and has a largely black target audience in the media capital of the world is awful for business. Don't be stupid.

He's a Billionaire, sterling could give a frick about the money he will make. He cares about power. Zero chance he does anything but fight this to his death.

Sterling is a horrible human being so i have a hard time feeling bad for him but i think Silver just made that happen.
To me this seems WAY overboard.

fricking scary that something this guy said in private is about to cause so much ruin. He is a pos but this is sort of alarming.

Sterling is going to win in court and there will be riots a la Trayvon
eta. NBA is nervous because they know they can't force him to sell, which is why they didn't and just "banned him for life". But that's complicated because you're basically separating him from running his business which he rightfully owns in terms of the law. Could there be some sort of legal precedent set by this (after litigation of course)?
