Mind boggling why these High Paid Athletes fall in line with the Democratic Party, since the want to tax the rich so much.
So, by that logic low paid people shouldn’t vote GOP.
It’s also mind boggling why people bring politics into a sports board

I know but his taxation rate if he left the Warriors wouldn’t be as high. He choose to play there on last contract. So he’s getting taxed at 41 plus times in the a state that levies higher state rates.
But the UDub fan is the maroon that doesn’t understand that.

Agents make way too much money. Even Ari Gold ain’t getting 2.75% of my yearly salary

You’re right but he gets taxed 41 times for his home games (not sure how the playoffs work), whereas a guy on the Heat would get taxed 0 times in Florida for home games; same with a guy in Texas.
The Heat player would get taxed in CA for his Warriors, Kings, and LA games. This is was first reported when A Rod signed his mega deal with the Rangers and was paying CA state taxes for his games against the A’s and Angels.

Still the sports board. One can note Fed taxes and not make it about Party.
Tell us how much less he is paying now under gop prez vs Dem prez.

I do get that. And you clearly don’t get that 35 to 15 or 18 doesn’t really change anything when looking at it.

Why Oakland over the east coast? I would understand if we talking LA or San Diego.

I haven't thought about it very much as it relates to high net worth individuals but I would simplistically assume he is paying more now post-Trump plan because blue states got smoked by the changes.

I’ll never understand how he owes the government 15 million dollars bc he’s great at basketball. Wtf did they do to earn that much of his money?

Not sure, but with your Left Wing candidates for 2020, he will damn sure be paying more.
Hell look at this thread! Why is California taxed more than Texas? Blue vs Red government.

“Net” should include 401k IMO. It’s not like he doesn’t have it

Honestly, I hadn’t even thought about it from that perspective. Which I know is true.
My point was that there wouldn’t be a conservative or liberal that would be stating how much better or worse off he would be if he was playjng in Wisconsin instead of Cali.
If he was making 47% there would still be those complainting about how much the gov takes. IM NOT SAYING THEIR VIEW IS WRONG.
I’m pretty confident that Curry wouldn’t be any happier making 17 instead of what was posted. I’m not saying he wouldn’t acknowledge it is more. But his day to day level would t change.
When you are making generational wealth and have been doing so for years what is a million here or there. ;)
