This is probably being leaked from the ACC to get ND moving.

The only chance the ACC has at this point is adding ND and getting the new TV deal.

The ACC has no shot at getting a new tv deal no matter who they add.

Yeah idk why Stanford would join a crumbling conference. Adding them wouldn’t solve any of the payout issues that FSU has been bitching about

Stanford and Notre Dame to ACC makes too much sense

Stanford, Cal, ND, and what other academic school not in one of the big 2?

Tulane?

You think? Adding ND and some West Coast teams wouldn't move the needle at all?

Agreed, but are we looking at the basketball tournament going bye-bye at some point? People keep saying the super-conferences will "break away" to something else. I find it hard to believe that a billion dollar machine would end, but if the most powerful schools aren't even part of the NCAA anymore, then who runs and participates in the tournament?

What’s the motivation for ESPN to do a new deal? Unless there is an automatic trigger in the contract for new schools, I don’t see why they re-do it

The first weekend of March Madness is one of the premier athletic events. The Cinderellas are what make it great.

I can't see the payout for a P3 only tournament coming close. It would also make the conference tournament useless, so teams lose that revenue.

Louisville would be mid tier in sec football and top tier in sec basketball.

None because they control the ACC as is with no desire to change the membership built into the deal at the time it was negotiated.

The reason ESPN did that with the new Big 12 contract is now obvious. They wanted that league to destroy the Pac-12.

There would be a solution of some sort, way too much money at stake with the tournament. It’s a cash cow
