I cannot see ESPN paying more for Stanford. Since they have the ACC locked into 2035 ESPN has no reason to pay more. My guess is that is a ploy for Stanford to get into the Big Ten. Notre Dame will not join the ACC because Stanford joins.

delete this nonsense. those championships don't mean squat. football is all that matters and they don't have any leverage. nobody wants to see them, especially late at night.

Watch them whore themselves for the TV money. If they do this, SLUT is too kind of a word

Just go to the Mountain West with SDSU and Boise along with California and Wazzou and Oregon State.

While I love watching big games, which we'll get more of with better competition in the SEC, I'm not really a fan of the conference expansion we've been seeing.

That being said, I feel like the SEC is the only one that has done it properly. At least the schools in the SEC are PRETTY MUCH in a similar region.

That said, It's gonna suck for Oklahoma's Volleyball team to have to travel to Gainesville and vice versa

All things considered, that's not a bad fallback option. Throw in Hawaii and you have nice Away games as well.

College football is officially all fricked up.

None of this new crap should've happened.

A lot of this wouldn’t have happened if the PAC weren’t incredibly incompetent at both recruiting schools and handling their media deals.

I’d rather they still exist but how clueless and arrogant the admin and some member schools were meant this was going to happen eventually.

There’s gonna be 9 conferences, how can they sue 3 for having a “monopoly”

The Big 12 would probably love Stanford and Cal but their uppity academic elite donors would rather UNC, UVa, and Duke
