I’m happy to see so many mentions of Ron Franklin. I thought I was the only one who loved this guy calling games.

Yes to Ian Darke also

Joe Buck gets a lot of hate but I still love him for a big October baseball game. Musberger with the “you are looking live…”

Both those guys made/make big games feel big which to me is the sign of a great national play by play guy

Jackson is one of the first ones I think of.

His voice over the establishing shot of a packed, sunny PAC 10 bowl, while outside our house back east it snowed cold arse was amazing.

More recently, Mike Keith of the Titans is one of the best in the business as well as Tony Caridi of the Mountaineers.

Total homer, but Jim Henderson was classic.

A lot of good ones mentioned.

To change the pace, Sean McDonough on CBS was legit. His call of the Stoernover in Knoxville was on point. He also showed his emotions during the Warren Morris walk-off.

Jim McKay of ABC was the greatest sportscaster of all-time.

Curt Gowdy was also great.

Honestly none of them.
Some irritate me, like Gus Johnson and Steve Levy, but none are "must see TV".

Gonna catch shite, but I always loved hearing “You’re looking LIVE…” to start a broadcast for a big college football game.

Fell off in his later years, but growing up, Brent Musburger was the GOAT.
