As a life long dolphins fan I can honestly say we are tired of being patient and if a trade to get Watson were to present it’s self I would hope Miami would be all over it

Miami would have to jump if they had a chance for Watson. Miami was already a fun team to watch this season.. add Deshaun? I'd watch every single one of their games.

IMO, Dolphins higher ups got caught off guard with how bad the Texans were and didn't anticipate being in the position to be picking in the top 3 so they needed to see what they had in Tua.

2nd best qb in the draft class, amirite?

Third at best. Herbert lit it up.

Lets give the guy a healthy offseason, training camp, and preseason.

And some improvement on the OL or at receiver.

If they trade him or draft a QB I won’t think it’s some injustice or terrible move. But I also think he’s the type of guy who will do everything in his power to improve.

This is the first time I've heard that rationale and it makes a ton of sense. It definitely seemed like it was too early to make him the starter and I couldn't figure out why they'd be making that move.

It's funny how one of the players is bringing up Josh Allen. Allen threw 10 TDs and 12 INTs with a 67.9 QB rating and 49.8 QBR during his rookie season. I wonder how he would have reacted if he had played for the Bills during that season.

That all may be true but since it's all anonymous sources, it could be all made up to justify this guy's opinion.

This entire site had him pegged as a future HOF back in 2018. Life comes at you fast.

in 2018 he seemed like a mobile QB with incredible accuracy, feel for the game, and a great deep ball

once he played in the NFL he looked like a little kid with a little kid's arm and no mobility. it was shocking to see

He might not be good ... who knows... but this board has no idea how to evaluate QBs ... hell Lamar 31-9 with a MVP... but idiots on here will tell you he’s incapable of playing the position

I thought it was a risky pick mainly just based off the injury that he suffered.

But he was able to play so that's squashed that whole opinion.

were the Bills trying to make the playoffs?

Maybe Miami’s mistake was even playing Fitzpatrick. He didn’t have to play over Tua for Tua to learn from him, and a Tua team probably doesn’t stay in the playoff race, which makes it easier to play him

Tuna will never beat the likes of Mahomes or Allen based on QBing skills. Watson likely won’t be there forever but he’s below him him as well.

Phins should draft a QB and have a true competition. No reason to waste this opportunity like they wasted last years pick on Tuna over Herbert.

I remember the old days. . .when players wouldn't sell out their teammates for cheap media soundbytes

Good or bad, you have to have to have your teammates back.
