This new ownership group obviously knows nothing about basketball. They fact that they signed off on this trade from Nico proves this. There is no conspiracy to move the Mavs to Vegas. DFW is the 4th largest market in the country & they aren't moving to the 48th largest market. Vegas will get an expansion team but the Mavs aren't moving there. Cuban has had his worst year ever with the Kamala nonsense after selling the team & he would have fired Nico for even bringing up trading Luka.
This is either something personal between Nico & Luka & he didn't want to pay Luka the Max $360 million deal after this season, or he is helping out the Lakers & the League by making this trade. Remember, Nico was a Nike rep who worked with Kobe & his agent at the time Rob Pelinka. Yes, the Rob Pelinka who is now GM of the Lakers. They are close friends. Either way it is insanity at its finest. There will be many books written about this trade & its effect on the league & both franchises.

Or they don’t care about basketball and just want to make money and they didn’t want to pay Luka his deal he had coming. That’s probably the most likely option.

There is already a hotel casino arena combo under approval on the strip, just north of the Fountainbleu. The Adelsons have no interest moving to Vegas and the NBA isn't moving a team out of a top 5 market.

In the old days, it was left to the fans in the stands to decide the level of decorum. If you wanted to wear a bag on your head, or a Disco Sucks t-shirt, or boo the home team,etc..do it. As long as it isn't say a P@ssyhat or something vulgar/offensive, let society balance/play itself out.
Mavs are staying. Adelsons are in Texas to get Gaming done eventually, will play the long game.
