Sam Darnold is now Super Bowl winning starting QB.

The Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks are led by a head coach with the least name recognition of all NFL head coaches

We are living in a simulation.

And IU wins a football national title

Until just now, I thought he was their DC.

And would have had the same chance to win the Super Bowl as NE did.

I bet Nike had the same Marshawn Lynch type commercial but with Tom Brady in case the Patriots won.

Darnold seemed like he just woke up from a nap during that interview.

Can you blame him? He had to sit through that entire snooze fest of a game.

Is it me or do these players seem remarkably calm after winning a championship? It’s like they’ve won seven in a row the way they are acting.

I know kickers aren't really football players, but Myers couldn't get a mention from anyone on that stage, despite scoring 17 of Seattle's 29 points, lol.

I’m considering retiring from starting the NFL Various Games thread (along with other NFL game threads).

No they screwed Myers. He was their best player by a wide margin tonight.

You'd need 22 points, so at some point you have to go for two regardless. They get the first TD and don't get the two. Now its 16 points, they still would have to score two more touchdowns either way just tried to get the needed two point conversation out the way, ultimately doesn't matter though

I suppose it would be nice to have it out of the way, but if you wait until the end you only have to get it once. If you fail early you have to get it twice or the game is over.

He had a long of 41, and none of his kicks were particularly “high leverage”.

Sadly the life of a kicker. He makes them and it’s NBD, he misses them and he’s goated. And I don’t mean G.O.A.T.ed.
