Helton has lost 12 games already while at USC. Carrol didn’t lose his 12th game until his sixth season, after posting double digit wins and a natty game, every season after his first year.

Carrol’s 3rd season he had them at #1 at the end of the season. Helton can barely squeak by WSU.

Are you also ignoring that Carrol took over a USC team at one of its lowest points in program history? From 1991 till 2001, when Carrol got there, USC finished the season ranked TWICE. That’s just ranked. Helton took over a Ferrari compared to what Carrol started with.

I believe Pete went 6-6 first year, 10-2 second year and one loss split title third year.
