Hopefully Bridgewater and others prove this extra time to overanalyze players is not good. Goodell is terrible

There's only so much evaluation you can do on players.

Coaches would rather get them in OTAs doing drills, learning plays and get them in the film room rather than sit there watching game tape. Pretty sure he straight up lied about that

NFL is trying to take over every single day of the year.

Their greed will backfire eventually.

A number of our coaches have praised it, too, because it gave them a chance to spend time with their current players and make some determinations about what's the right place to go in the draft. So there's some real value to it."

this is the exact opposite i heard yesterday. I heard a number of staffs hated it because it was too much off time between normal evaluations and the draft. This is why the saints staff went to vegas.

yup

dude is starting to remind me of the people who run companies like Activision and EA where they find a game that people enjoy and start churning them out so fast with so little care that they eventually kill the series due to over-saturation and price gouging the customers. See Guitar Hero as an example. Activision once put out 5 different versions of that game in a year with most copies forcing you to buy another overpriced plastic guitar that you didn't need and then they were surprised when the sales started to go down.

Remember Cuban's point from a few months back about the NFL's ego leading to oversaturation and the beginning of deterioration for the League in the public's eye? Well......

Just because they are seemingly pushing it down our throats more than normal doesn't mean the public is craving it any more than usual. And even if they did, there is a breaking point for ANY market before the consumer has had enough and starts to move towards other avenues.

numbers never lie. they are having more and more shows and talk bc that's what viewers want, crave, desire, and don't give a frick about you're bitching cause you still tune in.

This is one of many reasons to not watch the draft. It was perfect as a 2-day event starting Saturday morning and it was ruined. I'll watch around when the saints pick and that's it

probably true. i know personally though i stopped watching the draft several years ago when it stopped being on the weekend. And i definitely avoid the nightly draft shows that start 2 months prior.
