He did go to the Islands,
but the reliable gossip is that Tom had an issue with some "fillers in his face" and needed a cleanup and heal time...hence the island trip away from reporters and paparazzi

Rodgers would rightfully piss teammates off if he did this. But everything Brady has done since the day he has entered the league has made him uniquely capable of doing this with zero second thought from teammates.

Maybe, but when if he continues to play at a high level and the Bucs are winning and in contention for a trip to the Super Bowl, no one will be too mad at him.

I think there are exceptions to the rule like being the best of all time at your position and you can get to call the shots every now and then. He isn’t missing any regular season games.
