He's got them by the balls. What are they going to do? Tell him to kick rocks and give the ball to, let me check ... Kyle Trask? Yeah, sure.

Brady made plans when he was retired, it is only logical he wasn't going to break commitments made to his family when he decided to change his mind and unretire

Yeah im gonna have to disagree about that being logical.

Watch it become more common in this day and age where people like playing the mental health card. Hell, you might get a Congress liberal enough to pass a law making it mandatory.

Correct, but you MIGHT be a dumbass if you assume you know what all his teammates are thinking

I’ve never accepted a new job that wouldn’t honor time off that I already had scheduled.

Players don't care if Tom fricking Brady is skipping noncontact preseason practices. None of them want to be there, as evidences by every CBA for the last 25 years. If there's any kind of emotion, it's jealousy that he can do that and they can't.

The only people butthurt about this will be fat middle aged white dudes

Once again, there’s absolutely zero way of you knowing this for sure. NONE. This is your opinion and you should treat it as such, not gospel

Once again, my comment above applies here. Some might, but you wouldn’t know that.

But if we assumed you were correct, and none of them wanted to be there, don’t you think some of them might be a little ticked off that TB doesn’t have to be there with the rest of them?

Doesn’t vibe with:

You can’t have it both ways bro

You contradicted yourself twice in the same post trying to act like a TD tough guy

Can you not see that? Am I taking crazy pills? It is Monday and I’m not back at full speed yet so I could be way off here

So what? It’s still a horrible example to set and could possibly piss off a few people in the locker room

I look forward to jcorye and wildtigercat coming in here and telling me how wrong I am and how this is ok

I'm apathetic about it. Maybe this was put into place when he retired, and was part of the negotiation on coming back. If I was a player, and it was either have Tom for a whole season and he skips a bit of preseason, or not have Tom at all... I'd take this.

That all being said, he isn't a Patriot anymore, and this didn't happen while he was a Patriot, so why would I personally give a shite.

I understand and completely get that. I was just stating my opinion on the matter and how it could POTENTIALLY cause some sort of ‘situation’ in the locker room with other guys

I understand that TB is TB and gets treated accordingly, I just think it might rub some people the wrong way. Not everyone is going to be on board with these decisions 100%

It won't, but you can think that all you want. You are free to have idiotic opinions.

Maybe they'll cry on the internet like you. That's about all they'll be able to accomplish by being in their feels about a complete non issue

Guess what, it makes no difference what the 53rd guy on the roster thinks about it

Unless it's a very special occasion (wedding, etc.), this is a slap in the face to the team. That doesn't seem like something Brady would do.

My guess is there is some special reason this couldn't happen before camp.
