And that would have been George Blanda throwing that ball to him.

Sorry to tell you bud, but the 80s weren't 20 years ago.

The 3 point shot became a thing in the nba Magic and Birds rookie year 46 years ago

Curtis Martin was a 1st ballot hall of famer.
He was a great running back.

I'm pretty sure Hennigan also had a 101-catch season

Better yet, will anyone ever beat Steph Curry's 3 point record? Best shooter of all time.

It seems like Albert Pujols hitting 703 home runs has flown under the radar.

I'm shocked Jason Kidd is as high as he is in threes. It was gospel for over a decade that he was a poor shooter

His shot was ugly too; that doesnt help perception.

I'll never forget the day he raped Ben Simmons at LSU. What an absolute beatdown he put on him and to this day he still hasn't recovered

Really raped an unranked team as the #1 team in the country by having to score the game winning basket with seconds remaining

Somewhat related, Deion Sanders isn’t in the top 20 for career interceptions but he’s top 5 in both INT return yards and INT return TDs.

He was electric. He didn’t get the high number of interceptions because they just didn’t throw to his side of the field

Recent history obviously but the fact that Albert Pujols has 703 home runs and is on a short list with only Ruth, Aaron on Bonds just seems wild to me.
Especially considering the fact that in the last few years of his career he may as well have been retired in regards to the common fan’s knowledge.

Also A-Rod only being 4 HR short of 700 irks me (although I fully accept that it is seen as poetic justice for most people)

Also Dyson Daniels is on track for 234 steals this season, which would be the most of any player since John Stockton in 1991

Clearly I meant the emergence of taking a lot of threes. Bird took 1.9 a game, Iverson took just under 4 a game. Hield takes 7.5 a game in 28 minutes

I know I'm not an NBA fan when I've never seen the name or heard of Buddy Hield.

He drug his nuts all over LSU in the PMAC one time about 10 years ago while at OU. Hit like 8 threes and led a comeback win.

I’ll always read Curtis Martins name in Chris Bergman’s voice, “Curtis my favorite Martin”
