Kyle Lowry deserves to be on this list. Hes not some great player, but he has been to the all-star game 4 years in a row after not making it his first 8 seasons.

Randy Johnson really started to dominate at 30. 4 cy Young’s after 34

Yeah he made his first Pro-Bowl at 25
I think he was responding more to the mentally retarded comment about Brees being a system QB.

Kenny Perry.
Golf is an interesting beast because the game is so mental. Professional golfers supposedly don't peak until around 35 or so.
Perry did win the Memorial in 1991 (age 31), contended in the PGA Championship in 1996, and won a couple of other tournaments in the 90's. He wasn't bad at all, but you are correct in that he didn't peak until he was in his 40's.

I think it has more to do with solid QBs getting shots with better teams late in their careers. Every so often there is a team with a stacked roster that rents an old QB and goes on a run.

Would like to see a similar thread for guys that killed it early then faded fast. Also one hit wonders (Jeremy Rin)

Think the game probably also slows down a lot as they have seen every defensive look possible. Provided they aren’t totally reliant on physical ability they can often recognize a lot more things than a younger guy.

Dude was a wunderkid in college - won the Heisman and is the all-time Hurricane TD leader.
And then sucked for about ten years in the pros before he put it together.
Well then you can argue he was a peak-too-sooner.
But you can't say, a guy that won the Heisman peaked late in football life.
He was a star at 20 for Jimmie Johnson. He was great young...best in the nation.

Yonder Alonso just made his first all-star game at 30. Had never hit more than 10 HR in a season until he hit 28 this year between the A's and mariners.

Andruw Jones was incredible early in his career but got out of shape. Ended up being better in his early 20s than at any other point in his career.

He was stuck behind Jason Kidd and Kevin Johnson in Phoenix
He really didn't hit his stride until his last couple of years in dallas though. I feel like he classifies as a late bloomer. His MVP years were at 30 & 31

Yes. He was good in Dallas but never saw an mvp candidate
He got abused by Mike fricking Bibby and Bobby Jackson
