The 85 Bears werent really known for their offense though
I meant their defense is really damn good, and their offense is too. 85 Bears defense, with an offense that has ridiculous skill guys as well.
They should be fun to watch.

Utah....
See if they can rekindle the promise of last year before injury.
Eight starters return from that stout defense and.....With a real offense on the field again....lets see if both sides of the ball finally put it all together.
Heisman Trophy contender Cam Rising returns from season-long injury. He threw for over 3,000 yds and 26 tds in 2022...and rushed for 465 yds and 6 tds. Their schedule isn't difficult and will see if they can sneak their way to the playoffs.

According to my cfb25 season sims Liberty could go undefeated with that cakewalk cusa and OOC schedule and league mvp QB rb and returning a lot of starters on defense.
They’re my dark horse to make the cfb playoff as the highest ranked G5 champion. They’ll prob have to go undefeated again to achieve that though

For some reason I've taken to following NC State a bit.
You & me both. They hit some home runs in the transfer portal. Really interested to see how they stack up against Tennessee on a neutral field.

Have you seen their first 7 opponents? They should be 7-0 when they meet Ohio State.
UTEP, Colorado, Northern Iowa, Illinois, Purdue, Rutgers, Indiana
I think 5-2 is more realistic. I don't see them beating Colorado (the Buffs always seem to have their number), and I think they'll lose to either Rutgers or Purdue

I always take an interest in SEC and Big Ten teams that come in with new coaches. So Michigan and Michigan State and Alabama and TAMU.

interested in seeing what Bama does with the new coach. Can they sustain. Also want to see how Texas does with an SEC schedule.

Nebraska should have a very good team and could easily make the playoffs this year.

As if they had been tearing up their Big12 schedule.

All the big name conference transplants (TX/USC/etc)
Colorado if you don’t count them as a big name conference transplant
Alabama

They get pretty much the entire bottom half of the league this year. Aside from UGA (and obviously ou who they play yearly of course) their sec slate is about as easy as you could imagine

Definitely Alabama post-Saban.
I know they'll still be good, but they've had this aura of invincibility for so long and played such smart mistake-free football most of the time.
Will be interesting to see if they look anywhere close to the same.

OSU - I’ve built them up in my head as the 85 Bears with about 7 1st round skill guys on offense. Can’t wait to see how they stack up to that.
Too bad their head coach is baby shite soft.
