I didn’t see the play. Not criticizing anything. Just asking, did the turf come into play on the bunt? How many bunts did the kid have on turf prior? Meaning, did it affect a normally great bunter into making a mistake? Like I said, didn’t see it. Just asking.

No idea. It really wasn't the speed of the bunt that was the problem. It looked like a relatively easy pitch to handle and he hit it right back to the pitcher. If he has to move two feet in either direction, the outcome is probably different. The runner on 3rd had good speed too fwiw.
