Did any of them tell their parents about it or how about saying "No"? It is always someone else's fault. You always have choices, they may not always be the best of choices, but still there to make.

I’ve often wondered about that. We’ve all heard and read the rumors, but how does that shakeout amd what does the school really know and how complicit are they? I remember one of the Texas schools getting a bit of heat for this awhile back but nothing ever really came of it to my knowledge.

Not specifically cheerleaders, but do the schools push these hostesses to ‘do what it takes’ on recruiting visits when the 5 stars come to town? Obviously, they don’t state that anywhere but is it implied behind the scenes? Ive heard that the match a female student as recruiting sponsor to show the recruits a good time and to make sure they have a great experience on their official visits. What do they say? Obviously, if a girl has a track record of providing “great experiences” to recruits, what does that entail? Seems like a very dicey situation and you know things happen and I can’t help but wonder what is encouraged and what is discouraged.

This title is greatly misleading as it doesn't seem like they were actually pimped out. But they were put into shite situations, had people make unwanted advances on them, and the school did nothing to prevent it

No school has ever ordered the hostesses to trade favors for things but it's understood part of the job is being attractive and pleasant which is also going to appear to be flirting at times. There's a reason these hostesses are all women and almost all attractive. They get more donations and recruits the same way attractive waitresses get more tips.

I don’t really see much that is scandalous here. Take out the one-side statements (true or not, they are just one-sided) and it basically sounds like cheerleaders were supposed to attend social functions and take pictures in their uniforms.

Maybe there is more to it that will come out.
