>> Jayden Daniels? <<

Exactly. JD is no quitter - to the contrary, he's tough as nails - but if he were my son I would advise him to not play tomorrow.

Grown men crying about college kid not playing in an exhibition game is hilarious.

The only people I see whining about it are fans. They are not storming the beach at Normandy it’s a game, an extra curriculum activity

I still don't get what an "opt out" is. They said FSU had 27 of them. But I only saw 10 guys that held out to get ready for the draft. So where is the 20+ coming from?

I did see that FSU had a lot of guys go to the portal. But UGA had 15 players go to the portal. So how is that any different?

Includes players in the transfer portal and perhaps some that may be persevering a red shirt

If that's so, it's a BS inflated number.

UGA had 15 guys leave to go to the portal. So it can't be FSU 20+ and UGA zero. It should be FSU had 10 guys opt out. Transfers and injuries aren't opting out..

Quitter. Bryce Young and Will Anderson didn't opt out last year and they went 1 and 3 in the draft.

1. Bowl games don’t matter anymore, they are about making $ for the schools and conference

2. All those in the “they are quitters” crowd are just stuck with 1950’s mentality. Potential draft pick have absolutely nothing to gain by playing in a meaningless game and everything to lose. NO NFL is marking that against them.

Now you got it. You can’t go three seconds on this board without seeing someone refer to bowl games as “meaningless” so why should players feel any different

This is plainly false. Jayden Daniels won the Heisman after LSU had 3 loses, he’s also shooting up draft boards.

Incredible the difference timing makes. I make this thread right after Daniel’s opts out and it gets downvoted into obllivion.

Opting out is the weakest shite in college football and anyone defending it is a pussy

At what point is the season meaningless? When your team loses 1? 2? 3? Week 5? Week 9?

I cannot wait for the inevitable opt-outs in the 12 team playoff from kids who are already making millions from NIL
