I doubt they were any worse than reported, I mean they were reported as the worst ever by a guy that's been in the nfl forever. you gotta remember ,most teams don't need a qb so they aren't going to take one just for the value until late in the draft

There’s no presumption of being the backup as a day 3 pick. There’s not even a presumption you don’t get cut that late. Def won’t expect to play though

This and the teams that need a QB are betting next year's draft should have more talent at QB. Find a serviceable QB this year and save powder for next.

For sure. He isn't promised a roster spot at all at this point.
