I want to see how he handles Michigan, tOSU, Wisky and MSU this season, their 2019 schedule is a joke with Wisconsin and tOSU being their toughest games in 2019 I wouldn't be shocked if they only lose 1 or 2 games. Next season I'd like to see 7 wins and no blowout losses.

After Michigans performance against South Carolina I'm getting less interested in that game.

Overall nebraskas biggest problem has been player development. No was among the worst, he was a subpar coach, didn't recruit, and didn't devolip, Riley might have sucked, but at least he could recruit. Frost can coach and recruit, let's see how he develops talent.

If he can devolip 3 and 4 star talent I'd say Nebraska will be a force to be rekoned with in about 6 years. If not then oh well.

2019 schedule, I mean this is really weak. Anything more than 2 losses is inexcusable.

I was always coming from Omaha, but around 7 hours seemed like my average drive time to Denver. I probably could have hauled arse and gotten there in 6 and 1/2

Recruiting in Florida and recruiting to Nebraska are 2 different things, but he looks like a solid young coach, so I think there is a lot of upside. Can he compete with Urban is probably the biggest question, since Harbaugh has no magic.

Will they be able to kick start their steroids program again?

This is a haters excuse.

My cousin was a parade all american recruit in the late 80s/90s

He said when he went to Nebraska on a recruiting trip, they were the only ones that treated weight lifting as serious as practice. It was second fiddle back then to everyone else.

Nebraska can be a winning power again. Osborne recruited nationally. Guys like Rozier and Gill were not from Nebraska. Frost can recruit nationally. The big ten west is so weak and just begging to be taken over by a decent program. I'd say Nebraska and Minnesota are in much better position than Wisconsin. Chicago and Northern Illinois isn't as fertile as people thing it is. The best players from there can choose between Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, Purdue and Notre Dame. Wisconsin has no special lock on Chicagoland.

Ralph's ears must have been tingling with the Wisconsin mentions in this thread.

If I was a Nebraska fan I would of wanted a strong defensive coach and then break the bank on elite assistants

I disagree. Spread it out, run tempo, and get a great DC.

Frost is a strong leader with a good background. He will do very well there.

Purdue needs to keep Brohm and the B1G will be the best conference very soon.

All this talk about Nebraska taking over a weak Big Ten West, that they should only lose 2 games, blah, blah. Maybe they should focus on us puny teams before taking on OSU. Iowa has absolutely curb stomped the Huskers the last several years. We don't plan on letting that change.

I'd be very worried if I were an Iowa fan.

Nebraska has decent talent, and now a very solid offensive mind.

I don't know much about their QB situation though.
