Where do y'all see Nebraska football going in the future? Scott Frost is obviously a great coach. What he did at Oregon and UCF was very impressive. I gave UCF no shot against Auburn and they threw for 250 and rushed for 170 against a very good Auburn defense.

Can he recruit well? Leftovers from Florida, FSU, and Miami are arguably better than anything he'll find in a 500 mile radius at Nebraska.

Seems to me, the ship has sailed on Nebraska ever being able to do that consistently on a national basis anymore.

I think he’ll do very well. If Bo Pelinie can have success there so can frostb

He’ll probably make them into a consistent top 20 team but their ceiling is still not any higher. He’s a great coach but he can’t move the university 1000 miles south.

I want Nebraska to turn into a powerhouse under Frost so that everybody can pretend they didn't say that Nebraska can never be good again.

frost will dominate the big 10 but not nationally. however that might open up an invite to the big 12 to give nebraska a chance to compete for a national title.

With Frost's central/south Florida connections, he can build a nice pipeline to Nebraska. This will help him build up the roster with depth and speed that he'll need. He can consistently be as good as Wisconsin and compete for the B1G west yearly.

Bo Pelini never won fewer than 9 games. Frost is a good coach and one of their own so they will give him time.

Riley and Callahan are just shitty coaches.

At some point, you’re gonna have trouble recruiting some urban youths from south Florida to go to Nebraska...just saying

Nebraska voluntarily left the Big 12?

and has been regretting it ever since. they would jump at the earliest opportunity to rejoin.

A higher ceiling version of Iowa moving forward. The B1G West is pretty bad so they should never have less than 4 conference wins. So typically around 9 wins a year with the occasional 12/13 win run.

They have more name recognition than Iowa so they will gain traction in the rankings earlier than Iowa would meaning they will have a better shot at the playoffs.

Fat girls give great head. Nebraska has plenty of those. Secret weapon in recruiting.

I think their ceiling is higher than most still think.

I looked at their recruiting rankings a little while back, and I was a bit surprised - they were in the top 20 or top 30 pretty much every single year even while they sucked. They had significantly out-recruited Wisconsin and Iowa, for starters (and Michigan State most years, too).

They'll never again be the juggernaut they once were, but they can contend for B1G titles and perhaps the occasional national title under the right regime.

He's going to have to build that brand back up. Could be a home run hire - former national champion who gets Nebraska.

But these 18 year old kids don't have any memories of the Nebraska Empire that once existed. He'll be starting from Ground Zero.

In real dollars, they're making more.

What's your point?
