Mfer, what is going to happen to all of the cycling content?

Probably ship everything to NBC Sports Gold for $150 a year

Overall this sucks but there are a couple of silver linings.

1. Hopefully this means about 8,000 less hours of Mecom Auto Auctions on television.

2. No more of that cocksicle Mike Florio every morning.

I bet NBC is looking to shed that NASCAR contract when it ends, too.

I am thinking the cycling may end up on the Olympic Channel.

TdF got its best ratings in years so I'm sure it ends up somewhere. Would just suck to end up buried on Peacock

Well they also show the Vuelta, LBL, Dauphane, and other classics on OC, so makes sense to package them all on one to get some ratings. Only thing that worries me is the 2020ne games coming up, what are they going to show TdF and others on during Olympic years? The OC should most likely get all the big name trials.

NBCsn needed one of the p5 conferences contracts to fill their channel.

they tried, but espn had 1st right of refusal, so they kept them all.

had nbcsn got cfb, cbb, etc and pissbly a midmajor , to add to lineup they had, it might of worked. w/o some one watching, it doesnt work to have 2 major sports and nothing really else

NBCSN had the A-10 I believe and was getting squeezed by CBSSN and ESPN starting to show NCAA Hockey. If they could have ever gotten the MVC away from ESPN for football and basketball that would have been a coup for them.

The Valley has major metros Chicago, St Louis, Indy, and then the Dakotas for football and then they could have cherry picked which Ivy games to show football.

I know that Elgin someday will decide his conference is bigger than he projects it to be, when he does that it will get some eyes.

I read it as MSNBC. Now I'm disappointed.

Makes sense as to why ESPN and the NHL have been talking about a new deal to bring it back.

This must make it a done deal I'd think.

And Disney furthers their stranglehold over more sports.

I’m sure YouTubeTV will cut my bill after this channel is dropped just like they did when they dropped Fox Sports Regionals and Prime Ticket.

They need to put the early original Law and Order on Peacock.

I hate it because I love the NHL on NBCSN

But a positive is that it gets Florio and his buddy Simms off of tv
