NBC has told distributors and some sports leagues that it plans to shut down its NBCSN sports channel by the end of the year. Story coming in SBD

-John Ourand

Scant on details but anybody who enjoys watching hockey NBCSN is one of the prime channels for that along with their regional sports networks. Not sure what the NHL is going to do because bascially all of their games are through NBCs national and regional broadcast and cable packages.

I feel like that would violate their contract.

Wow, that sucks. Watch a ton of EPL on there, even though they don’t show as much as they used to

They’ll probably still show the game of the weekend on NBC but this is shitty news for EPL fans in the states.

First few years of EPL on NBCSN was probably the best sports deal in the world. Peacock killed it.

frick the Peacock app. I hope it fails. NBCSN was my go-to for sports outside of the Big 3 (Football Basketball Baseball). Sad to see it go
