They never really showed they were willing to invest in major sports properties. That’s the only avenue to relative success in the American cable sports world.

I was hoping they’d at least peel off a small NBA package so they could revive Roundball Rock. (Lol at FOX cbb taking the rights)

TWitter saying hockey, NASCAR, and soccer will move to USA. Most other events will move to Peacock (including ToF) or be forced to look for another home

Sonuvabitch.

NBC and their sister networks has been a garbage partner for years. I will be so glad when another network gets the rights next year.

Please let this be true. And bring back Thorne and Clement to broadcast all the top games. Along with that badass intro music.

I feel like that would violate their contract.

Talk about trying to not win the US rights during the next round of bidding

NBC didn’t pay that much compared to some other countries providers do but you know other networks would love to get them

This kinda sucks.

Wonder what this will do to their hockey ratings in the playoffs.

Makes sense as to why ESPN and the NHL have been talking about a new deal to bring it back.

This must make it a done deal I'd think.

That would be cool.

Nobody is watching ESPN's programming anymore unless it's live sports. That means they need more sports to broadcast.

NBC shutting down anything of its own is a win for America.

Also, frick Lebron James just because.

No great loss. I never watched OLN at all and only watched Versus and NBCSN for the occasional NHL game. I actually like the idea of more sports going to USA network like back in the 80s and 90s. USA used to show NBA, NHL, and even MLB way back in the 80s in addition to WWF and indoor soccer. LOL. They used to show boxing. In fact it was a direct competitor with ESPN for primetime sports in the 80s.

Of course USA used to show Cartoon Express and Dance Party USA. LOL.

I’m sure YouTubeTV will cut my bill after this channel is dropped just like they did when they dropped Fox Sports Regionals and Prime Ticket.

Right

Literally a $10 increase a week after those channels got cut

Then gave us the bullshite channels no one wanted

I just don’t know where the weathertech series will go. NASCAR will wind up somewhere but what about the other racing circuits?
