Baseball has a few ridiculous movies. Field of Dreams, Angel's in the Outfield, Rookie of the Year, etc.

Rookie of the Year gave us "funky buttlovin", so anyone hating on this can eat a dick.

I deserve it for the spelling.

I wasn't trying to say those three were overrated. I was simply pointing out how absurd their premise is.

And this isn't the thread for it, but I'll nominate Bull Durham and Tin Cup as some of the GOAT sports movies. Say what you will about Costner, but these roles are in his wheelhouse and a lot of fun to watch.

Sports documentaries are tough to rank against traditional movies, but Senna is one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen.

Breaking Away is probably the most underrated Sports movie of all time.

I actually think the movie Goon is a pretty underrated/funny movie.

I'll also say it's one of the worst TV shows I've watched.

Though I disagree with you that Hoosiers is cheesy, I have to admit I happen to like cheesy sports movies.

All The Right Moves (Tom Cruise)

Victory (Sylvester Stallone)

The Replacements (Keanu Reeves)

Love'em.

Has there ever been more actual talent in a sports movie than this one?

Painfully long and boring movie. Replacements all day long.

If the Blindside didn't have Sandra Bullock's arse on display for 60% of the film, I would've given up 15 minutes in.

I'm thinking no. This one had Pele, Bobby Moore and a whole bunch of European and South American stars.....guys who had won World Cups
