does anyone here put ESPN on?
Crazy that flag football, little league softball, banana ball, and reruns of the ESPYs are more valuable to ESPN than MLB. It's absolutely idiotic. I get that it's a dead period in sports but frick man replay 30 for 30s instead of the fricking ESPYs

So glad we get rid of talented people so
We get more bald chicks yapping about god knows what in the future
ESPN sucks arse so hard

They probably pay peanuts and get a big profit out of those.
MLB they have to pay out the arse for and work their arse off to make that back. I’d assume.

Not a surprise at all about Ravech. ESPN has scaled back their baseball coverage mightily over the last year, and Karl's salary would far beyond what would make sense to pay an announcer in a sport far down ESPN's pecking order.
As far as Peliserro, that's just ESPN having to choose between people doing duplicate jobs. As they bring NFL Net on board, NFL people will need to go.
Media networks tend to employ too many people and pay them too much, so they frequently have periods of layoffs.

This has to be a salary culling

How does Heather Dinnich keep surviving all of these layoffs?
She's a mouthpiece that is 100% controlled by college football.

Wow. Plenty others that deserved to be let go before him.
He was probably more expensive

I thought he was good at CWS. "Tommy Tanks walks it off",

Apparently there are going to be a lot more.
Rename this thread so we can track all of them

On the bright side, he won't be calling the CWS next year. Maybe they'll also send Ed Perez packing.
I always hated that ESPN would bring in two guys who had not called a college baseball game all year to do the most important ones. I know they think people will listen if its a familar voice but it sucked.

When I saw Karl doing a regular season SEC game it felt like the writing was on the wall. He'll get a new job in no time.
Time for Dave Neal to take his rightful place at the CWS. Hopefully without Eduardo...

Davis also works for EA Sports as one of the Madden analysts. He'll be fine.

She's incredibly cringe over her level of ignronace. If they haven't let her go by now, they're not gonna.

Aside from live sports, does anyone here put ESPN on?
No, but that's why this is not a good layoff for ESPN. He’s a really good SEC basketball play by play guy and a great baseball play by play guy.
