Holy shite, why haven't I heard of that guy before?

There's always random no name guys putting up huge numbers in the minors. Can't really put too much stock into AAA numbers. In the same league Oswaldo Arcia is hitting .354 with 20 HRs. He's also 26. He hit .235 in over 900 ABs in the majors.

But if he can carry any of that momentum to NY, he'll be worlds better than Chris Carter.

Per Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, Jansen was very receptive to hearing the Dodgers have looked into acquiring Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton.

"Man, that would be awesome," Jansen said. "You just gave me goose bumps."

Taylor has really helped the Dodgers this year. I thought 2B was going to be a big blackhole for them and it has been a strength.
Dodgers need to get Puig and Pederson going though, Bellinger has been a huge asset obviously

pederson has been fine and puig has actually turned it around with a power surge and uptick in walks

i think chris taylor is going to eventually come down to earth and we are going to have to figure out if bringing in another OF is worth it

He's still too inconsistent to count on in a playoff series, Pederson too. We need another OF bat badly.

I think that move may be a part of a bigger future move. Cooper could be part of a package for Bour or another first baseman. The Marlins and any other team would want a MLB ready first baseman

Bird has to show some toughness. He's still saying he's hurt yet the Yankees medical staff can't find anything wrong with him. Strange situation for sure

With trade speculation ramping up, the Los Angeles Dodgers are rumored to be looking for left-handed bullpen help, and reportedly have interest in Detroit Tigers closer Justin Wilson.

Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports tweeted that the Dodgers have shown interest in three lefties, including Baltimore Orioles elite closer Zach Britton, San Diego Padres All-Star Brad Hand, and Wilson. Heyman also assumes that the Dodgers have checked in on Sean Doolittle of the Athletics.

Joc Pederson has a 133 wRC+ over the past calendar year. He is really good. I probably wouldn't want him batting too much against lefties in the playoffs though. I guess that is where Kike Hernandez comes in.
